Lizzie and Richard’s wedding theme was English summer garden party, with vibrant pinks and all things quintessentially English (mini fish & chip cones, strawberry daiquiri cocktails, Pimms, ginger beer, lawn croquet etc.) with a Scottish twist (for the Groom) – he wore full highland dress (kilt with a fly plaid), the bride had thistles in her flowers (the national flower of Scotland) and a ceilidh (Scottish folk dance) in the evening.
The couple wanted their stationery to be as simple yet timeless as possible, so they chose our elegant Gold Foil Calligraphy stationery (Invitation, RSVP, Order of the Day, table numbers, table plan and various wedding signage) on an ivory card to suit the Cotswold stone of the venue, and the vibrant pinks of her flowers.
They chose unique Scottish and English cheeses like Slack ma Girdle and Stinking Bishop as their table names, placing a piece of each cheese at the centre of the table. To complement this creative touch, we designed custom table numbers to match their elegant theme.
The modern minimalist calligraphy menu cards were the cherry on top for their table settings, they styled them with an ivory satin bow and pink napkin. Simple and elegant was the vibe!
